LAWSUIT FOCUSING ON HARVARD WESTLAKE STUDENT JULIETTE WEST, FATHER LEE WEST AND "HOW I BECAME AN ELEPHANT" DOC

LAWSUIT FOCUSING ON HARVARD WESTLAKE STUDENT JULIETTE WEST, FATHER LEE WEST AND "HOW I BECAME AN ELEPHANT" DOC

Below is the First Amended Complaint referenced October 19, 2012 in the Hollywood Reporter: "Elephant-Rights Documentary Provokes Charge of Idea Theft." Plaintiffs in the case are Juliette West's father, Lee West, a hedge fund manager, and his associate Michael Tobias (Dancing Star Foundation, Forbes.com). "How I Became An Elephant" is directed by Tim Gorski, Produced by Jorja Fox (CSI) and Juliette West and Associate Produced by Emily Deschanel (Bones).

The case continues.  A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled, "Defendants Michael Tobias and Lee West's Demurrer to the First Amended Complaint is overruled.  The court finds sufficient facts have been alleged to state causes of action against defendants."
